A delicious zucchini dish. Be sure to try to cook! An improvisation on the theme “Zucchini pizza in the oven”, but of course, it is not a pizza in the classic sense, but rather a zucchini casserole. The recipe is basic and affordable.

This recipe should be divided into two stages: cooking zucchini crust for pizza, or zucchini dough. And directly cooking the pizza itself. You can do several experiments with zucchini dough. Make it neutral, that is, do not add spices, herbs, and basil to it, and collect all the taste and aromas in the filling. But in my opinion, this does not make sense – because then why use zucchini, make a cake from ordinary flour.
Therefore, it is better to postpone all experiments until the second stage of cooking this dish. So, to prepare the cake, finely grate the zucchini, squeeze them well (to remove the excess juice that has formed), add the rest of the ingredients. Mix thoroughly and bake in a well-heated oven (180 °C) for 15 minutes. As soon as the base of our pizza is ready, we take it out of the oven and start cooking the pizza directly.
Here, you can give free rein to your imagination: make a filling from cheese, sausage, and tomatoes; like this recipe with mozzarella and spicy sausage; or a vegetarian version of cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, and peppers;
Here you can add everything you like. After the filling is placed on the base, send the pizza for another 10 minutes in a well-heated oven (180 °C (356 °F)).

Zucchini pizza crust recipe

How to cook a delicious pizza from zucchini and eggs – delicious. The zucchini pizza itself is very juicy, tender, and tasty. The dish is prepared as simply as possible, try it and please your loved ones.
Ingredients
- Zucchini – 2 pcs.
- Eggs – 3 pcs.
- Salt – 10 gr.
- Black pepper – 5 gr.
- Flour – 150 gr.
- Basil – 5 gr. (dried)
- Baking powder for dough – 10 gr.
- Dill – 10 gr.
- Tomato sauce – 50 ml.
- Mozzarella – 150 gr.
- Spicy sausage – 100 gr.
- Breadcrumbs – 30 gr.
Instructions
Take two medium-sized zucchini. Wash and grate. Do not forget to remove the stalk and “navel”. Before putting the zucchini in a bowl, squeeze them well with your hands to remove the excess juice that has formed from the zucchini.
Add 3 chicken eggs.
Salt, pepper, basil, baking powder, flour, and dill.
Mix everything thoroughly to a homogeneous mass.
Sprinkle the bottom of the baking dish with breadcrumbs.
Pour the resulting mass into a mold (a round mold with a diameter of 25 cm is suitable for this recipe). Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356 °F). But send the baking form to it for 15–20 minutes.
Our pizza base is ready. Now add the rest of the ingredients. Pour tomato sauce into the mold and spread it evenly over the surface of the pizza. Do not exclude the oven.
Add grated mozzarella and spicy sausage. And send it to the oven heated to 180 °C (356 °F) for another 10 minutes.
Remove the pizza from the pan and place on a cutting board.
Your delicious zucchini pizza is ready.

Notes
You can make this recipe in a vegetarian version, without sausage. And if you like, you can experiment with different fillings: pre-boiled meat, ham, tomatoes, and olives. It will be delicious!
