If you are not a fan of vegetarian or vegan cuisine, we recommend that you try our homemade burger recipe with brisket and pickled vegetables.
But today, we will prepare the best vegetarian burger.
Compared to “meat” burgers, vegetarian burgers, thanks to different recipes (a vegetarian patty for a burger is prepared from vegetables or healthy cereals that can be classified as superfoods), are considered healthier and less heavy and high-calorie food. In this recipe, even the cholesterol level is zero.
It’s easy to prepare them: you choose any recipe for meatballs, add your favorite ingredients as desired and place everything inside burger buns or ciabatta. But, of course, we advise you to use whole grain bread only.
The full recipe is described below. We will take canned beans and walnuts as the basis of the cutlet. Beans should be baked in the oven, having previously dried them on a paper towel, and nuts should be fried in a pan together with cumin, fennel and smoked paprika. Thereafter, prepare a roast of onions, carrots and sun-dried tomatoes, cool. Mix all the ingredients in a food processor or with a blender. Form patties and fry them, assemble a burger to your taste (bun or ciabatta, tomatoes, arugula, tofu cheese, onion, lettuce, cucumbers, avocado, cabbage). As you can see, there are no complicated steps in technology.
