First, don’t be misled by the name of the dish: “fried rice”, there is no classic rice in this recipe, its function will be performed by cauliflower. This recipe is basic and unpretentious in preparation. And the taste will satisfy the requirements of the most picky gourmet, not to mention the fact that fans of vegetarian cuisine will like the dish.

If you don’t like vegetarian dishes, then add some cooked chicken, bacon, or ham to the recipe and turn it into a complete dinner!

It should be noted that this dish is low in carbohydrates. It can be included in the diet of a person who deliberately excludes or reduces their consumption.

What do we need and how to cook cauliflower?

Cauliflower soaks up all the flavors of garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil, so it’s really incredibly tasty and perfect for savory dinners.

Cauliflower – Use 2 small or one large head of cauliflower for 4 people. If you are serving as a main dish, you need to increase the quantity. You can also buy ready-made cauliflower in the frozen section of most large supermarkets if you want to save time grating.

  • First, rub the cauliflower. For this, you can use a cheese grater or a food processor if you have one.
  • Sauté onion, garlic, pepper, and peas in a little oil. Then add sesame oil and cauliflower chopped and sauté again.
  • The egg, along with a small amount of soy sauce, is added to the side of the pan and beaten, then mixed into the dish.
  • Finally, a little more soy sauce, salt, and lemon juice.

A recipe for delicious fried “rice” made from cauliflower, fried together with soy sauce, egg, vegetables, garlic, and sesame oil. Super tasty vegetarian side dish!

  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Frozen peas – 115 gr.
  • Sesame oil – ½ tbsp. l.
  • Cauliflower – 300 gr.
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Salt – ¼ tsp.
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp.


    First, you need to grate the cauliflower in the form of rice.

    Add oil to a large wok. Add the onion and cook, stirring regularly, over medium heat for 5 minutes, until the onion is soft and translucent.

    Add chopped red pepper, garlic, and peas. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring regularly.

    Now add the sesame oil and grated cauliflower and increase the heat to high.

    Use a spatula to mix everything together and make sure the cauliflower doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.

    When the cauliflower is heated through (this will take about 3-4 minutes), move the cauliflower to the side of the pot.

    Crack two eggs and add some soy sauce to the eggs.

    After making sure the egg part of the wok is heated, fry the eggs, stirring with a spatula, until the eggs start to cook and look like scrambled eggs, but are still a little runny.

    Now mix the egg into the cauliflower.

    Pour in the rest of the soy sauce, sprinkle with salt and mix everything.

    Add lemon juice, mix, and taste. Add a little more lemon juice if needed.
